The bipartisan National Fiscal Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform released draft recommendations on how to address the nation’s fiscal challenges with the specific goal of balancing the budget by 2015. Many recommendations focus on reductions in federal administration, programs and funding, as well as tax reform and social security changes. A final report will be submitted by the Commission on December 1, 2010.
