Leadership Awards
- Tom Bradley
The Tom Bradley Leadership Award recognizes leadership excellence in advocating regional concepts, approaches, and programs at any and all levels of government. It is named after the late Mayor of Los Angeles who was the first elected official to serve as President of NARC.
- Walter Scheiber
The Walter Scheiber Leadership Award recognizes the significant impact an Executive Director of a regional planning organization has made at the local, state and national levels. It is named after Walter Scheiber, former Executive Director of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and a founder and first president of NARC.
- John Bosley
The John Bosley Award recognizes outstanding service and contributions by an individual to advance the success of the regional community. It is in memory of John Bosley, who served as Deputy Director of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and legal advisor to NARC.
